My quilts offer sanctuary, healing, and liberation, through designs channeled from the cosmos, by way of my open heart, to you.

My process begins with a consultation to understand your preferences and inspiration, allowing me to tailor each quilt to reflect your individual taste and personality. “Sabel's magic comes in many forms, but the main ones I had the privilege of experiencing when she crafted me my incredible quilt were 1) vision and 2) synchronicity. Going into the consultation I had NO clue what I wanted, just that I wanted something that FELT a certain way, MEANT a certain thing... After an engaging and enjoyable chat, Sabel somehow took my vague senses and cravings and significances and bopped them into her vision and out came a masterpiece I never could have anticipated, or asked for, but which was exactly what was called for. Her timing on its completion and delivery also really resonated with the whole project's purpose and importance.

Sabel's ability to shepherd meaning and thought and memory and the whole freaking rainbow into structured art is a thing I will never understand, but will always be grateful for. Could not recommend her more.”
-Lexi Jacobs

“Sabel combined her artistic vision and our desire for bright and flowing patterns that draws your eye in different ways everyday to create a beautiful quilt that we will treasure for a long time! So grateful she made a piece for our home. It hangs on a large wall in our living room area for all to see and enjoy.”

“Sabel and her custom-made art quilts, from my perspective, represent the embodiment and the connection that exists between Heart Energy and Matter. Sabel is well equipped (in mind, hands, soul, spirit --and sophisticated machinery!) to channel this energy into reaching its tangible state of fruition. She does so well at manifesting this beautiful ethereal emotion of Love into our own unique physical plane of existence.

She’s able to create the most magnificent, one-of-a-kind art quilts that hold our hearts & bodies softly, embrace our soul, gratify our eye; and transcend the pace of time. Thank you, Sabel, we absolutely love the baby quilts for my twin niece/nephew!”

“When Phloid and I asked Sabel Rose to create a quilt for our king size bed, we made no specific requests, only to design it how she felt we would like it. I knew that she would conjure up a beautiful piece of artwork, and we also gained a cherished heirloom that will be handed down through our family for generations to come.”

I make Quilts to honor a lost loved one, Bereavment Quilts, Memory & Memorial Quilts

I create tee-shirt quilts, bereavement quilts, or memorial quilts. These are made from your sentimental fabrics into functional quilts to hold the love and memories of the people, events, or places your textiles originally represented. I can take most types of fabrics and breathe new life into them, creating a solution to drawers of beloved tee-shirts, clothing belonging to a loved one who passed, or fabrics collected during exotic travels. Often I add my own fabrics in to harmonize the color palette, but details can be discussed in a consultation.

“As a seasoned event professional, I found myself with an abundance of event T-shirts that were meaningful but wearing out or just plain excessive, clogging up my wardrobe. After seeing Sabel’s quilting at a showing and her masterful work on a DPW worker’s shirt-quilt, I decided that was a perfect way to preserve the special memories those shirts contained. She not only used the shirts in an incredibly tasteful arrangement, she incorporated the fibonacci sequence into the design (which my company’s logo is based on) in a fresh and compelling way. Her work is now one of my most treasured pieces of art, and it gets lots of compliments wherever it gets seen.”
- Waste Busters owner Michael Siminitus

“Sabel’s quilts exude beauty, harmony, and vibrancy. Investing in a Sabel Quilt is investing in highly functional, one-of-a-kind, healing ART. Mine is an invaluable treasure in my life. Don’t sleep on Sabel’s art, sleep under it.”

-Hudson Soules

“I had an old, worn bedspread, not a quilt but it had a printed quilt design on it. I loved the way it looked on my bed, albeit faded with holes. I started dreaming of getting it recreated as an actual quilt and reached out to Sabel Rose. She was up for it! We talked about the fabrics to use, what the back would look like, and the pattern of the quilted stitching. Sabel Rose took it one step further by redesigning the border pieces to beautifully line up at the corners, something that had not been considered in making the original bedspread. Annnnnd…. TA DA!!! My quilt is stunning, the perfect full rendition of my old bedspread. Every morning I am inspired to make my bed so I can enjoy its beauty throughout the day (something I’ve never done before). At night it is wonderful to sleep beneath. I’ve had it a couple years now and it still looks brand new. I will treasure Sabel Rose’s quilt forever!!!”

-Athena Soules

“Sabel Rose is a Rainbow Eater, she’s full of them, always has been, always will be. The perspicacity of Sabel is truly phenomenal. It has been a magnificent and beautiful process to observe her over the years connect wholeheartedly with her Art and create these vibrant and sumptuous manifestations of material. Excavating sensational patterns and spectrums of color into her poetry of fractalicious fabrics. Sinking into slumber, through to morning shine I am grateful and blessed to be wrapped in the comforting cosmic calculus of her colorfully calibrated Quylte.”

“I've followed Sabel's art for many years when she was doing intricate stencil art and murals. Her attention to shapes and blending colors just got better and better. When I moved into an old farmhouse, I needed to brighten it up and make it mine. We had a few meetings about what emotion, color and flow could help me scale a big wooden boring wall that is center to the whole house. After a couple sessions and a visit to her amazing studio, what I hung up was nothing other than mesmerizing. Everyone that comes in the house immediately says something about it and how it sets a hopeful tone for the whole house. It's a true investment and continues to give me chills.”

-Sawyer

“I’ve been wearing the jacket you made me pretty much every day for the last few months so even though it’s just a small piece of your art it makes me feel like I’m wearing a creative protective halo around my aura. Every time I wear it I get several compliments throughout the day and it’s been just the best energetic shield I have right now in terms of clothing.”

-Margaret

“I still can't believe that you read my mind so perfectly, and you included so many wonderful surprises. Everytime I see it, it fills me with energy and joy. It is so amazing that with so few words your design and execution of your art could so surpass any expectation. So perfectly perfect!”
